Dr Maddegendara Lalith Wijerathne

Dr. Lalith is a member of Global Center of Excellence for Sustainable Urban Regeneration, and the Earthquake Research Institute, University of Tokyo. He received his Ph.D degree (Doctor of Engineering) in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2005.

He has previously been a research scientist in the Institute for Research on Earth Evolution, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, during 2005-2009. Dr. Lalith is a member of the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS). He joined IJDS editorial board since 2012. Despite as Assistant Professor at the Earthquake Research Institute, Tokyo University, Japan, Dr Lalith also a visiting scientist at R-CCS, Computational Disaster Mitigation and Reduction Research Team.
