Prof. Jose Ignacio Latorre
Professor José Ignacio Latorre is the Director of the Center for Quantum Technologies in Singapore, and the Chief Research of the Quantum Research Centre in the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi. He got his PhD in elementary particle physics and has worked extensively in quantum information and artificial intelligence.
His outreach activity includes the writing of three popular books and the production of two documentaries. He has also created Qillimanjaro Quantum Tech, a company that is constructing the first quantum computer in the South of Europe.
