Prof. Heru Suhartanto

Prof. Heru Suhartanto is a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia (Fasilkom UI). He joined Fasilkom UI in 1986. Previously, he held several positions, including postdoctoral fellow at the Advanced Computational Modeling Centre, University of Queensland, Australia, from 1998 to 2000, and two terms as Vice Dean of General Affairs at Fasilkom UI since 2000. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics UI in 1986. He obtained a Master of Science degree from the Department of Computer Science, The University of Toronto, Canada in 1990. He also holds a Ph.D. in Parallel Computation from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Queensland since 1998. His main research interests are in Numerical, Parallel, Cloud, and Grid computing

He also reviews several referenced international journals such as Computational and Applied Mathematics, International Journal of Computer Mathematics, and Journal of Universal Computer Science. In addition, he has supervised several master's and doctoral students. He has won several research grants, holds several software copyright licenses, and published many books in Indonesian and international papers in proceedings and journals.
